Still in West Virginia, it was my joy to spend this weekend with GLBM’s new Assistant Director, Dr. Peter Banfe, who is also the Dean of the School of Business Applications at the Crown College of the Bible.  Peter and I were able to get much planning and praying accomplished.  On Sunday we visited two different churches, one in the morning and the other in the evening.  In each we presented the vision, work, and people of GLBM.  The Spirit of the Lord moved in both churches as God gave us great liberty to preach and share our passion for the Golden Land.

In the morning we were at the Liberty Baptist Church in the Saturday Road community of Victor, West Virginia.  This church already supports GLBM monthly and Pastor Danny Legg has led his congregation to help us send two ocean containers full of Burmese Scriptures.  Each container costs approximately $4500 and takes months to arrive in Bangkok, Thailand.  To move these Scriptures inside neighboring Myanmar takes faith, courage, patience, and more money.  But our people are pleading for the Word of God.  We are getting ready to send another container very soon and we’re trusting God for the funds to send it on its way.  You can help put a Bible into the hands of someone who has never had a copy of God’s Word.

In the evening we visited the Alderson Missionary Baptist Church in Craigsville, West Virginia where Eddie Groves is pastor.  This was the first time I have ever been in this church but I hope it’s not the last.  I am thrilled to say that this church has some great young people who really want to serve God.  There was a wonderful spirit and, after showing the GLBM video and explaining our vision and work, Dr. Banfe gave his testimony and I sang and preached from the 10th chapter of the book of Acts.

In every church I visit I ask the people to pray for us and to support GLBM financially in some way.  I am not ashamed to do it.  I do not ask for myself.  I ask for my people, most of whom suffer all their lives and then go to Hell, never hearing the Gospel of Jesus Christ even one time.  Remember what God has said: “There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim. 2:5).  I want them to hear at least once that God loves them, that Jesus died to pay their sin debt, and that the Great Peace that Gautama (the Buddha) sought all his life is truly found only in the one Saviour of the world.

Our accomodations this past weekend was a beautiful mountain cabin courtesy of Neil and Revonna Redman who are the owner/operators of Mill Creek Cabins in Lansing, WV.  The Redmans provide a deluxe vacation and lodging experience in a secluded resort where “luxury and wilderness come together.”  This was truly a wonderful treat and you may visit the Redman’s website at: http://www.millcreekcabins.com/

Thanks so much for praying for us.  We are counting on you to partner with us as we reach around the globe, with the greatest Message ever told, to the people God has put in our heart.  As always…pray for souls!
